Course Approval & Reporting Policy
Certified Boater provides boating safety education intended to meet the requirements of specific states or jurisdictions.
When a course is described as “approved,” “accepted,” or “meets requirements,” this reflects our understanding of the applicable rules at the time the course is offered.
Course completion is reported for every student as required by applicable state or jurisdictional rules. Information reported may include:

Final acceptance of course completion is determined by the applicable state agency or authority. Laws and requirements may change, and students are responsible for confirming the requirements that apply to them.
