Certified Boater develops comprehensive boating safety course materials designed to align with standards supported by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the uniformed, civilian volunteer arm of the United States Coast Guard.

NASBLA Approved

The Certified Boater Tennessee Course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and meets U.S. Boating Education Standards.

NASBLA is a U.S. nonprofit organization that develops public policy for recreational boating safety and represents boating authorities in all 50 states and U.S. territories.

NASBLA standards prescribe the minimum body of knowledge necessary for safe, legal, and enjoyable boating. These standards are designed to reduce risks in recreational boating based on accident data and boating violation statistics.
